Details Of The Author: son of Māṅgala of Kāśyapagotra and  contemporary of Puruṣottama Gajapati (1466 ̶ 97 A. D.) of Orissa; wrote under Puruṣottama and  Pratāparudradeva (1497 ̶ 1540). In his Prākṛtasarvasva, he says that he wrote in Vīrapratāpapura under King Mukundadeva of Orissa (1559 ̶ 68 A. D.), the last great king of Orissa. The following works are attributed to his patron Puruṣottamadeva. See Orissa Des. Cat. Vol. II. pp. cviii ̶ cxv.
