Details Of The Author: or Yogī, son of Kumāra Komaṇārya or Koṭyaṇa, in the family of Kīrtideva (who lived at Pravara on the bank of Vitastā) belonging to Vārṣagaṇya gotra, disciple of Nirupamabodha, probably a sannyāsin. After accepting the Sannyāsa his name was Amarānanda as per his great grand preceptor. He was patronised by Someśvara ( 1235 ̶ 63 A. D.).
