Details Of The Text: His quotes are found in Amarakośa (Ṭīkāsarvasva and in Bhāṣāvṛtti. This work was prob. called Trikāṇḍa). He is quoted several times in Bṛhaddevatā; also by Lakṣmīdhara on Manusmṛtibhāṣya (8/ 198); and by Somadeva in Yaśastilakacampū as a writer on Rājanītiśāstra. From quotations referring to him in grammatical treatises viz., Śabdaśaktiprakāśikā, it seems he was the a. of a Dhātupāṭha (guṇo vadheśca nindāyāṃ etc.). For addl. details about a. see Y.
